Mixed Spice Paste Ingredients:

~ 4-5 stems of Lemongrass ស្លឹកគ្រៃ

` medium size of ~ 3 inches Galangal រំដេង

1 clove of Garlic ខ្ទឹម

1 small size of ~ 4 inches Turmeric ល្មៀត

Other Ingredients:

Fish Sauce ទឹកត្រី

Salt អំបិល

Chicken Seasoning គ្រឿងទេសសាច់មាន់

How to make:

Step 1: Prepare main ingredients

  • Chop pumpkin, luffa vegetable, and chilli pepper into big chunk pieces
  • Cut fishes until chunk pieces
  • Shred shiitake mushroom into big pieces by hand
  • Hand pick star gooseberry leaves from the stems

Step 2: Prepare mixed spice paste

  • Chop lemongrass into fine pieces
  • Peel the garlic, galangal, and turmeric
  • Put all the lemon grass, garlic, galangal, and turmeric into pounder and pound until well combined
  • Put the paste on the side

Step 3: Cook

  • Boil about 4 cups of water in the pot
  • Once boiled, add pumpkin in and cover the lit
  • Once boiled, add fish in
  • Add salt, fish sauce, chicken seasoning, and mixed spice paste
  • Stir, and cover the lit until boil
  • Add luffa vegetable and shiitake mushroom
  • Once boiled, add star gooseberry leaves
  • Finally, add chilli peppers in for garnish
